Grant Recipients - Concurrent Session divider

We look forward to featuring your work in a 75-minute session titled "Welcoming Change in Our Communities: Supporting Diversity in Development" (time and location will be in the conference program).  During this session we will start off with some small group roundtable conversations and thenfinish with a full group discussion.

For the first part, we'll divide you up so that two to three of you are sitting at each table -- a member of the DC will also be at your table to help facilitate.  We'd like you to begin by each speaking for about 5-7 minutes about your work and how it relates to instructional development.  We also hope you'll give some thought to the broader question of the conference theme of "welcoming change" and speak to your observations about how we can bring positive change around diversity to our institutions. You may wish to share challenges, opportunities, and possibilities.

After all the grant recipients at your table have presented, then we'll open things up for conversation and Q&A in the small groups.  We'll conclude the session by reporting out what was shared in the roundtables and discussing the main points that were raised.

You're welcome to -- but not expected to -- prepare any handouts or other visual aides to augment your presentation (though we won't be able to accommodate multimedia presentations with the roundtable format).  35-40 copies of handouts should be enough for everyone in the room.

And please feel free to contact Lori Schroeder (lori.schroeder@metrostate.edu) or Stacy Grooters, DC Vice Chair (sgrooters@stonehill.edu) with any questions about this session.
